Recruiting: Visitor Update II For Dabo Camp 2nd Session

5 Star Texa QB DJ Lagway

THe Clemson Tigers are in full blown recruiting mode right now. Commitments are rolling in, 2024 offers are going out, and camps/visits are still happening. Last weekend was the big recruiting weekend on campus. This weekend, you see some repeat visitors and a few first-timers.

5-star QB DJ Lagway from Willis, Texas, will be making a return visit to the Tigers. He has been making the rounds of late, and will be in Clemson on Sunday, and heading over to Georgia on Monday. Lagway, ranked as the #3 QB in the 2024 class, and is one of two quarterbacks offered by Clemson in this class. The other offer is the #1 ranked QB, Jayden Davis.

Big OL Kam Pringle will be visiting the TIgers on Sunday. He recently visited the school in the middle of the state and according to 247, is a lean towards that school. However, it is one crystal ball by a USC journalist. Pringle, 6-7 330, is ranked as the #1 player in the state of South Carolina and the #3 OT in the country in the class of 2024.

5-star defensive lineman Hevin Brown-Shuler visited the Tigers in April, leaving Clemson with an offer. He will be returning Sunday and will have the ear of defensive line coach Nick Eason. Brown-Shuler, 6-4 290, is ranked #4 in the state of Georgia and the #3 DT in the country in the 2024 class. He has gathered 29 offers to date and would be entering a DL group that is second to none in the country.

Cornerback Kaleb Beasley is another big time prospect coming in on Sunday. The 4-star Beasley, 6-0 180, is ranked as the top player in the state of Tennessee, and the #11 CB in the country in the 2024 class. He has 27 offers to date and should see a significant increase in that number with a solid senior season. He doesn’t have a Clemson offer…..yet

An intriguing prospect coming to Clemson this weekend already has a connection to the university….his brother. Drew Woodaz is a 3-star prospect, brother of current Clemson player Wade Woodaz. He recently visited Oklahoma and met with former Clemson coach Brent Venables. We will try and get everyone visiting this week, but it’s a fluid situation. we will update when more information is revealed.
