Today in LittleJohn Coliseum, the Clemson Tigers (16-3, 6-0 ACC) extended their undefeated ACC record to 6-0 with a 69-59 win over the Miami Hurricanes (15-3, 4-1 ACC). The Tigers have now gone back-to-back against the Hurricanes, with previously gaining a victory over Miami in December of 2024 where they won 65-55.
The Tigers took the lead going into the tunnels at the half with a score of 35-26, shooting an efficient 47% FG. As for the second half, Clemson was able to keep up the efficiency, increasing that FG percentage to 53% while also shooting 47% from beyond the arc. In addition, it was another stunning defensive showcase from the Tigers, attaining 12 steals, forcing 16 turnovers (5 above their average) and held Miami to 28 points under their average total PPG.
Stand-out Performances:
- Carter Welling: Clemson’s scoring leader with 18 points and 9 rebounds, ne away from a double-double.
- Jake Wahlin: Clemson’s most efficient scorer, shooting 100% from the field, going 2/2 from 3-point range and an incredible poster dunk, finishing with 8 points.
- Jestin Porter and RJ Godfrey (CLEM) added to the list of Tigers who had double-digit scores with 11 and 10 respectively
- Shelton Henderson (MIA): Hurricanes’ leading scorer with 22 points and 5 assists
Coming up next for the Tigers is another home matchup against NC State on Jan. 20th at 7:00 PM ET, where they’ll try to keep their 9-game win streak alive.

Thats only half the turnovers one player got in my team during a game. Amazing work, and great depth with the numbers. Keep it up!!
