Rowing Host’ ACC Championship’s

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Rowing will host ACC Championships on Lake Hartwell on Friday and Saturday, May 13-14. The Tigers are heading into the weekend as the No. 3 seed in the 3V8+, the No. 4 seed in 1V4+ and the No. 5 overall seed in the 1V8+, 2V8+ and 2V4+. Syracuse, Duke and Virginia are all ranked in the Pocock CRCA poll with Louisville and Clemson receiving votes. Admission is free and open to the public, as races take place from 8:05-10 a.m. each day. Parking is available at the east beach lot by the soccer complex. Shuttle service will be provided. Fans should be advised that graduation ceremonies are ongoing at Littlejohn Coliseum.
Clemson last won the ACC Championship in 2009. Clemson’s first event will take place at 8:15 a.m. on Friday with the 3V8+. The Tigers will field Varsity Eight and Varsity Four boats and will be competing in the 1V4+, 2V4+, 1V8+, 2V8+ and 3V8+. Broadcast links for prelims and finals are available via ACCNX.
