Tigers to Face Georgia Tech without Starting Lineacker

Clemson, SC

News out of Clemson today that starting line backer Kendall Joseph injured his groin during practice this week and will not play against the Yellow Jackets on Saturday in Atlanta.  It is now up to veteran reserve JD Davis and his backup heralded red shirt freshman Shaq Smith to step up and into the role of the middle line backer against a very busy Tech Offense.

Eye discipline will be critical as will placing the defensive line in the right gaps.  Both duties of the Middle line backer in Brent Venables defense.  Stay tuned as we will update you with any more info out of Tiger Town prior to tomorrow’s contest inside Bobby Dodd Stadium.
