“Every dog has his day, sometimes the ball doesn’t go our way. We did good to hold them to 63 points. But give them credit, they did really well.” Marquise Reed said.

“I was devastated to hear the news, it wasn’t what I wanted to hear. I am going into surgery on Thursday and am looking at 4-6 weeks rehab.” Shelton Mitchell said when asked about his surgery.

Clemson has seen their share of ups and downs throughout this season but according to Shelton Mitchell, it’s important for the team not to look at only the negative, but to look at the positive. “We’ve learned a lot this year, yes, we’ve had many negatives this year but we’ve also had many highs this year and we need to focus on the positive’s just as much as the negative.”

“It was one of those games where we just couldn’t get a basket.” Brownell said “at the end of the day you’ve just got to recognize it.”
