Stay Tuned to C-S-N for Updates on Florida Defensive Backs Commitment

With the possibility of adding 5-star safety Keon Sabb on Saturday and 4-star cornerback Jeadyn Lukus, one would think the secondary would now be full. Not so fast my friend. Word is that the Tigers might be in line to pick up another cornerback on Saturday as well.

4-star cornerback Daylen Everette, also of the IMG academy in Bradenton, Florida, is set to announce Saturday at 5pm, right after Sabb at 4pm. Could he be Clemson bound as well? That would give the Tigers three commits from IMG in less than three weeks, joining edge rusher Jihaad Campbell. Everette was rumored to be leaning heavily towards UNC, and he may still yet pick them, but Clemson is still in the picture.

The talented cornerback is currently ranked as the 7th best cornerback in the country as well as the 7th best player in the state of Florida. Heading into his senior season, he has 29 offers. If all falls Clemson’s way, the term NO FLY ZONE is reality with this 2022 class.

The Clemson 2022 class currently stands at 32nd, but in the best case scenario, the TIgers would jump up to 7th with only 11 commitments. As we said, best case scenario. It could be a big weekend for the Tigers.
