CLEMSON, S.C. – Rachel Twitty has been named to the 2022 Pocock Racing Shells Honorable Mention All-America Team, Pocock announced on Thursday. Twitty was an integral part of the success of the 1v8+ boat this season.

The 1V8+ boat achieved great things this season as they took first place at the Lake Wheeler Invite and Cardinal Invite along with second-place finishes at the Dale England Cup and Lake Wheeler Invite.

Twitty adds All-American honors to her list of awards along with being named First Team All-Conference, CRCA Scholar Athlete and All-ACC Academic Team member in 2022, as well as Second Team All-Conference and ACC Newcomer of the Year in 2021.

“The team voted Rachel the MVP of this past season because they see her dedication day in and day out,” says Head Coach Stephen Frazier Wong. “She is one of the hardest workers on our team and a tremendous leader by example. I’m so proud of her for receiving this recognition.”
