—– Another coach has decided to take his family and head to Oklahoma to join Brent Venables. Coach Todd Bates is the latest coach to head west. He came to Clemson the year after Dan Brooks (retired) and Marion Hobby (NFL) decided to call it a day in Clemson. Bates had been the defensive line coach for Jacksonville State between 2014-2016 before coming to the Tigers.

—– Two more Clemson Tiger players decided to put their names into the transfer portal. TE Jaelyn Lay and DT Darnell Jefferies. In 3 years with the Tigers, Lay played in 19 games and getting only 2 receptions for 25 yards. Jefferies also played for 3 years, getting into 10 games, garnering 16 total tackles.

—– Two future Tigers will be playing in the All American Bowl on Saturday at 2PM on NBC. QB Cade Klubnik will be #6 on the West team while CB Toriano Pride will be #3 for the West team. Klubnik is fresh off his 2nd straight Texas State Championship and another undefeated season.

—– Speaking of the All American Bowl, the brother of former Clemson running back Travis Etienne, will be announcing his intentions at the game. Trevor Etienne has narrowed his choices down to LSU, Florida and Clemson. He will be wearing #18 during the game.
