Football Recruiting: More Top Recruits Confirm Clemson Visit During High School Camp First Session

As the Dabo June Football Camp approaches, more and more prospects are announcing visits. While there are several adding their names to that list, there are no pair of visitors more important than DL Peter Woods and OL Harris Sewell.

The 5-star Woods has had Clemson on his radar for a while and would be a huge get for the Tigers. Woods, 6-4 265, is ranked as the #3 DL in the country and the #5 player in the state of Alabama. Considered an Alabama lean, Woods registered 92 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, and 30 quarterback hurries. With the loss of players like Tyler Davis, Xavier Thomas, and Myles Murphy, Woods has the talent to step in and be “the next man up.”

Sewell, 6-4 290, is ranked as the #2 interior offensive lineman in the country and 15th in the state of Texas. Sewell has picked up 23 offers to date, including Texas A&M, Texas and Alabama.

Clemson commit edge rusher David Ojiegbe will also be on hand June 3-5.

Several prospects will be on hand to participate in the camp to show their talents.

3-star WR Ayden Greene will make Clemson one of his stops among others on June 1. Greene, 6-3 180 from Powell, Tennessee, hauled in 69 catches for 905 yards and 8 touchdowns in leading his high school team to the 5A State Championship.

4-star WR Noble Johnson, 6-2 205, will be in Clemson early June. He is listed as the #40 WR in the country in the 2023 class, and with 29 offers to date, and a solid senior season at Rockwall High School in Texas, he could see that ranking go up.

2024 Cornerback Tavoy Feagin will be a Clemson June 2nd to participate in the camp on Day 2. Feagin, 6-0 170, Tampa, Florida, is listed as the #5 Safety in his class. As a sophomore, Feagin registered 28 tackles with 6 passes broken up.

4-star Zach Myers, 6-1 190 from Arden, NC, plans to be in Clemson on June 1. As a junior, he had 22 receptions for 499 yards and 5 touchdowns. Playing both sides of the ball, he registered 13 tackles with two interceptions and three passes defended.
