 “Big Dave”

Clemson is selling future championships and playing with players of like abilities and football pedigree.  Oregon is selling their past reputation as school that develops Quarterbacks. Both staffs have made their way into northern California over the past week.  With Clemson sending in a contingent that included lead recruiters Jeff Scott and Brandon Streeter.  The Tigers have a strong pull with DJ and his family. Most noted DJ’s dad “Big Dave” has let it be known of his affinity for the team from the ACC.  Dj has ties to many of the Clemson 2020 commits…  and add to that the 5 days stay on campus for the Spring game with his entire Family in tow which was intended to and did make quite the impression on DJ’s Mom.  The Tigers have had the Nations Best on Campus numerous times now including at last years Palmetto bowl blowout versus the SEC’s Gamecocks. Then you add the trip this spring and all this leads up to a drama packed announcement on Sunday that both the Tigers and Ducks fans are eagerly awaiting.

Will the Tigers land the Bell Cow to their already over the top recruiting class in 2020 ?  Will The heir apparent to Trevor Lawrence be ready to announce for the Tigers?  We all find out on Sunday and Clemson Sports News will be here to update you all the way until DJ picks a hat.
