ESPN’s “College Gameday” to Debut 2020 Season with Tigers VS Deacons

College Gameday Headed to Clemson vs Wake Forest
By Makenna Biehl
College Gameday is heading to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on September 12th for the Clemson season opener against Wake Forest. Not only will this be Clemson’s 24th time on College Gameday, but it is also the first time that the show will be held at Wake Forest.
As expected, the show is going to look different this year. The College Gameday crew will be hosting the show on the 50-yard line of Truist Field. Unfortunately, this means that fans won’t be able to attend the game or the pregame show. Wake Forest is going to extra lengths to make sure that fans still feel like they’re a part of the atmosphere. The school is collecting signs and cardboard cutouts to be placed around the stadium during the show. There will also be a drive-in style watch party hosted so that fans can watch the show.
Things may be different for the Tigers this year, but they’re expected to add another win to their 15-8 record during gameday appearances. College Gameday will be held on September 12th from 9:00 AM to noon, with the Clemson vs. Wake Forest game at 7:30that night.
