Two days after winning the Cheez-It Bowl in Orlando, Florida, Clemson has handed out an offer to an Alabama wide receiver. Cole Turner, the brother of current Tiger Nolan Turner, has been offered to play football at Clemson.
Turner, whobecomes the first offer since the bowl game, hauled in 42 passes for 581 yards and 7 touchdowns for Vestavia Hills High School in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
Turner is a two-sport star, also excelling in basketball. He was recently named to the Alabama Sports Writers Association All-State football team, landing on the 2nd team as an athlete. Turner is a dangerous punt returner.
