Clemson Host’ Huge Group of 2023 & 2024 Recruits Over the Weekend

The Clemson Tigers hosted a large number of prospects on March 12th. This Saturday, they will host another group of talented high schoolers. 20+ players from around the south will be making their way to Death Valley.

Saturday will be highlighted by several 5-star prospects in the 2024 class.

The #1 quarterback in the 2024 class, Jadyn Davis, will be making his first visit to Clemson. Davis, 6-0 185, is currently ranked as the #1 player in North Carolina in his class and the #2 ranked player in the country. He recently transferred from Fort Mill, SC.

The #1 linebacker in the 2024 class, Sammy Brown, will make his first visit to Clemson. He is listed as the 6th best player in the country and is a big time LB out of Commerce, Georgia. In only 7 games (due to injury), Brown played both ways. Brown led his team in rushing with 753 yards on 58 rushes (13.0) and 11 touchdowns. He contributed 35 tackles, 3 tackles for loss and one sack. He has already picked up offers from Auburn, Michigan State and several others.

2023 Dorman OT Markee Anderson

One of the top athletes in the country, Khalil “KJ” Bolden, will be on hand. Bolden, 6-0 180, is currently ranked as the #3 player in the state of Georgia, the #1 ranked Athlete, and the #9 overall player in the class of 2024. He has 25 offers to date.

Big offensive lineman, 4-star OT Kam Pringle, is making his way to the upstate from Dorchester, SC. Pringle, 6-7 305, has picked up offers from Power 5 schools such as Florida, Florida State and Duke. According to Rivals, Pringle is currently ranked as the #2 offensive tackle in the country in the 2024 class, and the #15 player overall.

One of the top edge rushers in the state of North Carolina will be traveling down to Death Valley. DE Rico Walker, 6-3 233, is currently ranked as the #3 player in the state of North Carolina, and the #12 DE in the country in the 2023 class. As a junior, Walker registered 56 tackles, with 7 tackles for loss and 7 sacks. Look for this 4-star prospect to get more attention in the coming months.

An intriguing prospect comes out of Grayson, Georgia, in Jalen Smith, a 3-star LB with some amazing stats. For Grayson, Smith tallied 173 tackles in 14 games. He tacked on 14.7 TFL and 10 sacks. Impressive numbers.

4-star LB Grant Godfrey is the latest to announce visiting the Tigers. Godfrey, 6-4 210, is a former teammate of current Clemson linebacker Barrett Carter. In the last two years, Godfrey has registered 113 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and 13 sacks.

Note of interest: Clemson is really bringing in the Georgia linebackers this weekend. Five LB’s from all over the state are converging on Death Valley. How many will receive offers?
