Clemson Defensive End KJ Henry Declares for the NFL Draft

KJ Henry the starting defensive end for the Clemson Tigers has declared his intention to enter the NFL Draft in 2023. Thus ending a stellar career on and off the field in Clemson. Henry came to Tigertown via Charlotte, NC as a highly touted recruit and instantly became a team leader. Henry’s journey at Clemson saw him work behind a stellar group of DE’s as he arrived on campus but managed to get significant snaps in the freshmen season. That experience and the dedication to his craft on the practice field, weight room and conditioning drills showed everyone that he was on track to finish strong at Clemson.

Over the past month as the Tigers were preparing for the Orange Bowl and even as late as media day in Miami. The Tiger defender hinted at the possibility of returning for another season (Has a Covid year) fanning the flames inside the Clemson fanbase of a possible return of the DL players that were projected to leave for the NFL preseason. Well now the Clemson team, campus and fans bid farewell as Henry now joins fellow defender Brian Bresee on the path to the NFL.
