"Chat with the Hat" Special Guest Host CJ Spiller

CLEMSON, SC

The Hat and CJ Spiller from 4 Paws American Pub

Chat with the Hat returned to one of our favorite spots and also one of our great sponsors here at CSN, as the show set up at 4 Paws American Pub on Wed 9/4. Bill and his staff are beyond hospitable and the atmosphere there is just awesome. From great service and food, to the variety of adult beverages and drinks available.

The Chat and our Master of Ceremonies Dean Cox (the Hat) welcomed Clemson great and former NFL Star CJ Spiller to Co-Host on the evening. Along with CJ, the Hat welcomed Scott Keepfer the Clemson “Beat Writer” for the Greenville News and had a visits from a few of our sponsors. CJ and Scott really get into breaking down a lot of subjects in the last half of this episode of the Chat.

And we can’t talk about how much a surprise and a great smelling and tasting one it was for Brandon McCann of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts of the Upstate (Anderson & Spartanburg) and the Reese Family showed their love to the show and CSN by delivering fresh doughnuts for everyone in attendance.

Soon after the goodies where scooped up we had a visit from another one of our sponsor and one that is the literal next door neighbor of 4 paws and Glenn McCants of “Off the Vine” Spirits. Glenn has been a Clemson gentleman his entire life and has three locations in and around the Clemson area. A civic minded business just like 4 paws and Krispy Kreme and all our sponsors. We implore you guys to stop in and visit Both 4 Paws and Off the Vine right there conveniently located at the intersection of 93 and 123 across from Bojangles.

Friar Dixon of Dixon Insurance Agency and AllState Clemson give the Hat the lowdown on a great Policy

Our last visitor before the “Panel of experts” started talking football was Friar Dixon of the Dixon Insurance Agency here in Clemson. He is the local “AllState” representative and has one of the best and most convenient locations. Their offices are downtown in the same plaza/parking lot as the Blue Heron. Friar also a great civic minded and Clemson local has ties deep to this community and serves it so well providing folks with the best available insurance policies from Auto, home, renters, Boaters, RV’s, Motorcycle and so much more. Be sure to look for them right across the street from Allens Creations and adjacent to the old Astro Movie theater. Just look for the Blue AllState Sign and you will find Friar and his friendly staff waiting to serve all your insurance needs.

And once again we have to make notice to folks if you have not found the GEM that is “4Paws American Pub” . PLEASE do yourself the justice of patronizing this amazing Locally owned and operated business. Bill Lanham and his staff will make you feel at home and be sure to check the “Memory Wall” where you can see OLD CLEMSON as it used to be.
