ALL IN: Tigers Get Commitment from 4 Star Wide Receiver

One of the top rated Athletes in the country, Ronan Hanafin, has committed to the Clemson Tigers. Hanafin becomes the 20th commitment in the 2023 class for the Tigers.

Hanafin, 6-3 210, ranks as the #5 player in the state of Massachusetts, and the 18th ranked Athlete in the country. Although he projects as a WR at the next level, he played linebacker and safety for the Buckingham Browne and Nichols school in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

He had picked up 25 offers prior to his commitment, which included Power 5 schools Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Ohio State. Up till he pledged to the Tigers, he was considered a lean towards Notre Dame.

Hanafin was part of the large group of prospects that visited Clemson in early June, an event that has produced 15+ commitments. He joins a WR class that already includes 4-stars Nobles Johnson and Olsen Patt Henry (although some sites list him as a Tight End).

It is well known the Tigers WR room has been depleted the last couple of years with injuries. The addition of Hanafin, Johnson and Henry will give Clemson a big boost.
Clemson currently ranks #8 in the 247 College Football Recruiting Rankings and #6 by Rivals.
