Pittsburgh’s loss is Clemson’s gain. 3-star CB Shelton Lewis, Stockbridge, Georgia, has committed to the Clemson Tigers. He had previously committed to the Panthers on June 4th. Since that commitment, he continued to make visits and picked up several more offers.
Lewis becomes the 19th commitment for the Tigers, and the 5th for the secondary, joining 4-star corners Avieon Terrell, Brandon Strozier and 4-star safety Robert Billings. 4-star Athlete Kylen Webb looks slated for the secondary as well.
Playing for Stockbridge High School, Lewis registered 31 tackles and had 8 pass breakups in his junior season. Arkansas, UNC, Pitt, Mississippi State and NCState are listed among his 25 offers.
According to ESPN, Lewis, 6-0 180, is listed #75 in the talent rich state of Georgia and the 75th best cornerback in the country. Look for those numbers to improve with a solid senior season. Also state champion in the 400 Meters in track & Field .
