ALL IN: Clemson Gets Legacy Tight End Commitment

Patrick Sapp played three years at QB for Clemson, and his last year as a starting linebacker. Today, his son, Josh, became a legacy player. Sapp is a 6-2 230lb TE and plays for Greenville High School, the same school as current Clemson commitment, Collin Sandler.

In 7 games this year, Sapp has 25 receptions for 464 yards (185 YPC) and 4 touchdowns, helping to lead Greenville to a 6-1 record. He is currently listed as the number 28 player in the state of South Carolina.

The 3-star TE/WR/RB had narrowed his final choices to Clemson, Appalachian State, and Georgia State. Sapp becomes the 13th commitment in the 2022 class, which is currently ranked 2nd in the ACC and 11th overall.
