ALL IN: Clemson Gets Commitment from Another Lawson.

The Clemson Tigers picked up a commitment today from local Daniel star DE Jahiem Lawson.

Lawson, 6-4 230, ranks as the 25th best player in the state of South Carolina, but his stats say otherwise. For State Champion Daniel High School, he registered 75 tackles, including 25 tackles for loss and 11 sacks. As a junior, he was in on 46 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and 8 sacks.

The talented Lawson picked up the Clemson offer on 20 December. He chose the Tigers over offers from Georgia Tech, Syracuse and Coastal Carolina, among others.

He becomes the 17th Tiger commitment (not counting transfer Hunter Johnson). The Tigers now have the 2nd ranked class in the ACC behind UNC and is ranked 11th in the 247 College Football Recruiting Rankings.
