Etienne Post-Game

Clemson always relies on powerhouse running back Travis Etienne to pull out big plays during games. However, the Clemson Tigers offense lost Etienne for most of the third quarter due to some cramping. The source of his cramping coming from starting his day with a bowl of Frosted Flakes compared to a usual nutritious breakfast. The team’s staff hooked Etienne up to an IV for most of the third quarter to help give him some fluids fast, and he was back on the field for the fourth quarter.

Etienne further explained that he was excited to get back onto the field for the fourth quarter. It allowed him to supply a source of energy for the team that was missing. Etienne proved that he was back in good health for the fourth quarter by rushing for two more touchdowns.

Etienne acknowledged that the team collected way too many mistakes throughout the game; however, he didn’t let that outshine the team’s win. He emphasized that the locker room still had its usual energy, saying that they won, so they would still dance.

Etienne and the rest of the Tigers are ready to get back to work to prepare for their game coming up this weekend. The Clemson Tigers will be facing the Boston College Eagles this upcoming Saturday in Death Valley at noon.
