Grayson Byrd would bring the Tigers out to an early lead in the bottom of the first with a two-out solo home run. Bryar Hawkins would add to the Tigers lead hitting his seventh career home run of the season in the bottom of the second inning.

Bryce Teodosio would bring in the third run of the game on a Logan Davidson sac-fly to extend the Tigers lead 3-0 and Sam Hall would extend the lead to four on a Kyle Wilkie RBI in the bottom of the fifth.

Wake Forest would bring in one run in the top sixth scoring on double RBI. Clemson would prevent Wake Forest from scoring any further in the sixth inning.
