Clemson continued their recruiting efforts yesterday by offering the #1 defensive end in the country. Jeremiah Alexander out of Alabaster, Alabama, got the word yesterday about the Clemson offer.
Alexander, 6-2 235, is ranked as the #1 DE in the country in the 2022 class, as well as the #1 player in the state of Alabama and 11th overall regardless of position. This is one Nick Saban will strive to keep in state and is the odds on favorite to do so.
All Alexander did last year for the 14-0 state champions Thompson High School was record 116 tackles, have 31 tackles for loss, and 9 sacks. Pretty impressive numbers. Can he improve on that in 2022?
CSN will keep track of his recruitment. To date, he has 13 offers, but those offers are from schools like Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Florida. More to come on this outstanding defensive end.
