Tavoy “Seatbelt” Feagin Talks Tigers and Why he Chose Clemson

Clemson added one of the nation’s top cover corners this morning when Tavoy “Seatbelt” Feagin inked with Dabo Swinney’s 2024 Tigers. Feagin was actually the first name to cross the old “fax machine” and officially toss his name in the Orange and Purple hat.

We spoke with Tavoy shortly after officially becoming a member of the Clemson family and tossed five questions at him to say welcome to Tiger Town. See what “Seatbelt” had to say.

CSN: What was it about Clemson that made it stand out to you in the recruiting process?

Tavoy: “Clemson was really a school that stayed consistent and made me feel like I was at home.”

CSN: What are you looking for in regards to the College experience?

Tavoy: “Get my degree and make it to the next level.”

CSN: What kind of Student and Athlete is coming to Clemson?

Tavoy: “Very respectful student and a hardworking athlete that will be dedicated to the program.

CSN: Are you and early enrollee? and describe the feeling of taking the next step in your football career.

Tavoy: “Yes I am an early enrolle I’ll be in Jacksonville for the bowl game.”

CSN: Who would you say “Seatbelt” emulates or looks to as a influence on your life personally and athletically?

Tavoy: ” I really look up to my dad because of what he started at Alabama and I’m just looking forward to finishing the mission.
