Seven Tigers Earn CRCA Scholar Athlete Recognition
Clemson, S.C. — Seven Clemson Rowing student-athletes have been tabbed as 2020 CRCA Scholar Athletes as announced last week. For full release from the CRCA click here.
Seniors Becca Pulsifer and Makenna Farr each earned their third selection to the list, joining elite company as only 22 Tigers have amassed the maximum amount of selections in program history. Additionally, senior Maura Chozick and junior Kaley Wojciechowski dawn the list for the second time in their careers. Three newcomers were also added into the fold this season as sophomore Chloe O’Brien and juniors Emily Ash and Cate Schrieber make their debut.
Revised Selection Criteria from the CRCA:
2020 Scholar Athlete Awards requirements have been modified for the 2020 season. Student athletes must be in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of eligibility, must be ranked performance-wise in the top 50% of their team, or in the “NCAA Squad” (whichever is smaller) at the conclusion of the 2020 season*, and must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher for their career, and through the fall semester or quarter for the current competition year.
