Recruiting: New 2022 RB Offer Dispensed

The Clemson Tigers continued their recruiting efforts today, offering running back Andrew Paul out of Dallas, Texas. Paul, 6-0 215, plays high school football in the state of Texas, the same state as current Clemson signee Cade Klubnik.

In Paul’s junior season, 2020, he started 11 games, rushed the ball 104 times for 704 yards and 10 touchdowns. His senior year, 2021, came around, and he now has 21 offers which include such schools as Michigan State, Colorado and others.

During his senior year, he exploded for 2616 yards on the ground on 271 rushes and 41 touchdowns, adding 14 receptions for 208 yards and three more touchdowns. Paul led his team to a 12-1 record and ended up ranked 14th in the state of Texas.

His most recent offer was from the University of Washington on January 3rd and prior to that, Michigan, the day after Christmas. Today, January 6th, the Clemson Tigers made their offer official, and Paul will follow this up with a visit to the Clemson campus on January 21st.
