Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney held court outside the Allen Reeve’s football center following Monday’s first practice in pads for the defending National Champions. Also made available to the media after practice were starting wide receivers Tee Higgins, Justyn Ross, and Deondre Overton.
The Clemson head man discussed players making moves in his eyes so far, and how it’s going to take a few more practices to really see where some of these younger players are at this point. The Wide Receiver’s we spoke too all discussed the changes in the group with the loss of Hunter Renfrow and the addition of Frank Ladson and Joseph Ngata. The question about the move of Overton to the slot position has intrigued a lot of folks in the media and in the fansbase as well. With this potential mis-match of the 6’3.5″ Overton against linebackers and safeties over the middle.
