Mid Week Practice Update with Dabo Swinney

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney held his mid week after practice media availability, and as expected the weather and Hurricane Florence was on everyone’s mind.  See here as Swinney discusses the impending storm and also updated the gathered media on Garrett Williams and Jordan Williams’ status for the game on Saturday.

Coach Swinney expressed his concern for all the evacuee’s and residents of the coast as they await the monster storm to come ashore later this week.  Clemson has a number of players on the current roster that hail from the affected areas and mentioned many of their families were making their way north to the Clemson area to ride out the weather.

Plans for this Saturday were changed earlier in the day when Clemson announced that they would move up the kickoff time for the contest with Georgia Southern to 12PM.  With that move the University thinks it can get the game in and also manage the local traffic afterwards to get the fans back home safely following.
