Dabo Swinney held his 10th annual “Ladies Clinic” this weekend in Clemson to the largest ever crowd of attendee’s since it’s inception.
This years clinic, due to the heavy attendance was moved to Little John Coliseum to handle the overflow crowd. The 2018 version surpassed even high expectations early in the spring, so contingencies had to be put in place to handle the high demand.
An event that has grown exponentially over the past few years. As always, this event supports Cancer awareness and has been a great benefit to organizations all over the upstate. Kathleen Swinney has been a long time supporter of these efforts, going back to her own families struggle with breast cancer.
Clemson has shown immense dedication and effort to support Coach Swinney and Kathleen in their endeavors to eradicate cancer.
As you can see the event was well attended this year from the above images and the images you see in this article. We want to thank Bunny Scott for her time and efforts here to provide these images for all to see.
Just like every year, the ladies clinic is designed to show the female Clemson football fan all the nuances and “in’s and out’s” of every day life in college football. From showing how the players spend their collective days to how the team regiments itself on a daily basis. Simple daily task like conditioning, weight training, to diet and rest were among the topics discussed and shown.
ESPN game day analyst Holly Rowe was in attendance as well. This years clinic raised over $350,000, a lot of awareness, and educated the crowd on many issues that some may not have been aware of.
Stay tuned as I plan a follow up article in the near future. I will be reaching out to Kathleen Swinney in the interim to get her thoughts on this years events and years to come.
