In State Tight End to Commit today

Today is the day that Greenwood, SC and Emerald high school’s Top player Luke Deal decides where he is going to spend the next 4 years of his life.  Deal is an top 5 overall prospect in the Palmetto state for the 2019 recruiting cycle, and a player that Clemson covets at the Tight end Position moving forward.  The big time prospect out of the lakelands area has blown up and collected offers from all over the power five, also grew up a big Clemson fan.  The offer he always coveted came earlier this spring after a trip to Clemson to visit coach Dabo Swinney and staff, but it came after NCST and others had stepped up and already offered the 2019 prospect. Thus changing the dynamic that was expected.

As it sits today the Tigers have had the most “face time”  and exposure to Deal in the process and its bodes well that he is a lifetime fan.  But, the recent developments and trips to Auburn and Notre Dame along with a late push from Michigan have really muddied the waters.  Had the Tigers been the first to offer this one could have been done a long time ago.  But as of today it’s a tight one that we have not found any intel as of yet that the Tigers are the pick.

Stay tuned as we track Deal’s announcement to come out of Greenwood later this evening between 6 and 8 PM via Twitter.  After first announcing to a small group of friends, team mates an family to be gathered at the same time.
