Football Recruiting: More Offers Extended

Clemson continues to hand out offers and a 4-star edge rusher from Texas includes the Tigers in his Top 5.

A former teammate of Clemson quarterback, Cade Klubnik, edge rusher Colton Vasek narrowed down his final 5 to Clemson, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Texas and Oregon.

Vasek, 6-6 230, is vastly underrated as the 27th ranked edge rusher in the country. In helping lead Westlake to the State Championship in 2021, he registered 56 tackles, six tackles for loss, 10 sacks and 14 quarterback hurries. He will be in Clemson June 3-5 for his official visit.

Clemson handed out two more offers yesterday, one to a 2023 prospect and another to a 2024 prospect.

WR Noble Johnson, 6-2 205, is currently ranked as the 41st wideout in the nation in the 2023 class. As a junior, Johnson had 49 receptions for 875 yards and 8 touchdowns. He has picked up 30 offers to date.

2024 TE prospect, Jack Larsen, landed the 15th Clemson offer in this class. Larsen, 6-3 215, is ranked as the 3rd best player in the state of NC, and the 3rd best TE in the country.

Playing for a “run-heavy” Charlotte Catholic, Larsen managed to haul in 15 receptions for 199 yards. He played in an offense that only had 90 passes while running the ball 327 times.
