Clemson hits the road for a 9:00 p.m. matchup with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Clemson is coming off a devastating loss against North Carolina. Head Coach Brad Brownell said Tuesday that the team is still “battling back from their game Saturday” but that the team did have a great practice Monday and that he was looking forward to a great practice out of the guys Tuesday.

 

Brownell also mentioned how proud of the bench he was for stepping up during the North Carolina game when they were needed and that David Skara did not practice on Monday and would be doing a light practice today.

 

Notre Dame comes into Wednesday night’s matchup with Clemson with a 13-16 record and ranked 14th out of the 15 ACC teams.

 

 

 

Notre Dame averages around 69.7 points per game, 36.4 rebounds, 12.9 assists and allow their opponents to score on average 69.3 points per game.

 

Offensively, the Fighting Irish are led by John Mooney in points per game, Mooney averages 14.3 points per game. Rex Pflueger averages 4.3 assists per game and Chris Doherty has the highest field goal percentage on the team of 100% but only averages 0.6 points per game.

 

John Mooney leads the Fighting Irish, defensively in rebounds per game, averaging 10.9 a game. Rex Pflueger has the highest amount of steals on the team averaging 1.7 per game and Juwan Durham leads with 2.4 blocks per game.

Clemson plays the Fighting Irish on Wednesday night for their last road game of the regular season and will conclude their season against Syracuse, Saturday at noon.
