Coming off a heartbreaking loss at Miami, Brad Brownell and the Clemson men’s basketball team have a few days to regroup before heading up to Kentucky to take on the no.16 Louisville Cardinals. The Cardinals are riding a two game losing streak coming into this matchup with Clemson, dropping games against no.17 Florida State and no.2 Duke, where the Blue Devils would make a historic comeback against the Cardinals.

 

Clemson rode a four game winning streak before a late three pointer pulled the Hurricanes ahead by one point with a second left in regulation Wednesday night.

 

Coming into this matchup, the Cardinals average 78.2 points per game, 37.7 rebounds, 14.2 assists and are allowing their opponents on average to score 68.6 points a game.

 

Offensively, the Cardinals are led in points per game by Jordan Nwora, who scores on average 17.8 points per game. When the Tigers conclude their game at Louisville, the Tigers will begin a week of home games against no.17 Florida State on Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. and a Saturday matchup against Boston College at noon.
