The Tigers had to handle a tough Lipscomb team who had already beaten SMU, TCU, Morehead State, Middle Tennessee, Navy and nearly beat Louisville, the Bison lost by four to the Cardinals. The Tigers forced 22 Bison turnovers. Lipscomb only claimed three offensive rebounds and hit 21-51 shots for 41.2%. Duke, however, did not play last week but surpassed Virginia for the number one spot in the Coaches poll.
