Clemson Hoops takes out NC Central: 71-51

Brad Brownell and his Clemson Tigers took on North Carolina Central tonight inside the friendly confines of Little John Coliseum.  The Tigers had no problem picking up their second win of the young 2018-19 Season as they made quick work of the Eagles.  Getting out to fast 21-9 lead early in the first half and never looking back the home team was led by David Skara with 16 points and fellow Tigers Aamir Simms (14) and Shelton Mitchell (11) also scoring in double figures. 

 

 

Brownell’s squad was 46% from the field on the nigh. . . hitting on  23 out of 50 attempts.  Senior guard Marquise Reed added 5 assist’ and the Tigers were just too much for the Eagles out of the MEAC Conference.  Clemson now 2-0 and preparing for its next game with Sam Houston(TX) again inside Little John Coliseum next WED 11/14.
