Clemson Basketball: Commitment

The Clemson basketball team has picked up their second “Chauncey” commitment in the 2022 class, G Chauncey Gibson from Dallas, Texas. Last month, 6-9 forward Chauncey Wiggins, Loganville, Georgia, committed to the Tigers.

Gibson, playing for Kimball High School in Dallas, had narrowed his choices down to Texas Tech, SMU, Old Dominion and Clemson. The 3-star guard stands 6-6 180, and has the wingspan of someone 6-11.

Chauncey Wiggins, 6-9 180, is ranked as the 8th best player in the state of Georgia and is ranked 36th at his position. Wiggins will join current Clemson freshman Ian Scheffelin in the front court in 2022. These two help lead Grayson to the state playoffs in 2020.
