Chat with Hat Visits Benson Ford In Easley JK Jay Guest Host

Easley, SC

The Chat with the Hat hit the road and took the show up 123 to Easley on 8/28 and set up in the showroom of our proud sponsor Benson Ford. Shane Henson and his staff were super host and we had a great “Chat” with former Clemson Football alum JK Jay.

JK who resides locally in Laurens, is very civically active man that has helped in many ways. Most recently he started a campaign on social media to raise funds to help supplement the cost of ex teammate and former Tiger Tyshon Dye’s funeral expenses. JK also a is a alumnus of Southside Christian Academy prior to his days at Clemson. If you know JK story… he was the top rated offensive lineman in his class in the state of South Carolina when he committed to play at Clemson. Fate would have it a series of injuries would sideline what was a career that held a lot of potential. The Chat was so glad when we reached to ask JK to take part and when asked he gladly accepted and here we are today writing about a great chat as expected.

Scott Swayngham from David Scott salons in Greenville Chats with Hat about their services

We also had a few special guest stop by the Benson Ford Showroom as Scott Swayngham from David Scott Salon and Clay Greenlaw of Easley Lawn & Garden dropped in and updated the Hat and CSN on all the new things and products and services at each of their locations. Scott and his Salon located off of Congaree Rd in Greenville across from Miyabi’s is a go to for all your hair needs. Not to mention Massage and nail services also available. Appointments are accepted and ask for Scott or Britney and they will make sure you’re sorted and leave feeling great about your experience .

Clay from Easley Lawn & Garden may be one of the most knowledgeable men in the upstate when it comes to the tools and resources of his business. When it comes to mowers and all the accessories that are needed in home or corporate lawn care Clay is your guy. He is an authorized Husqvarna and Spartan Dealer and has many models of mowers to try. And they really have area’s best selection of both and specialize in the Husqvarna ‘robotic mower’ the next thing in lawn care. A unit that is already taking Europe by storm and quickly becoming the latest thing in domestically and in the area. Clay is the local expert on all things Husqvarna so get into ELG and visit them for your lawn care needs. They also have a great service department if you need any repairs or just upkeep and tuneup.

Krispy Kreme of Anderson and Spartanburg sent us these one of a kind “Orange Glaze” doughnuts and Ninja Warrior Coffee brought the Java to wash it all down with. We would like to Thank Stewart Armstrong of Ninja Warrior and Brandon McCann and the Reese Family of Krispy Kreme.

Finally a guy many of your recognize from TV ads here in the area, “Big” Robert the sales manager at Benson joined the guys at the set and grabbed a seat and talked Benson Ford, Mr Benson himself and all the civic minded efforts he has spearheaded over the years in the local community along with of course some great deals being offered currently at Benson Ford. Make sure if you are shopping for a car to give Shane or Robert a shout and let them show you a quality Ford product to choose from when making your vehicle decision.

Clay Greenlaw of Easley Lawn & Garden talks to the guys about the Great Husqvarna deals he has going on at ELG. Another one of our great Sponsors and we implore you to check in on Clay and his knowledgeable staff and let them help you with all your lawncare and servicing needs.
