Brad Brownell Media Availability

Brad Brownell and his Clemson Men’s Basketball Team is set to host former ACC opponent turned Big Ten opponent Maryland in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Wednesday afternoon. Tip is set for 5 p.m. from inside Littlejohn Coliseum and will be broadcasted on ESPN2.

Clemson (3-0) is coming off an impressive defensive performance last Wednesday against South Carolina State, defeating the Bulldogs 75-38 and kept the S.C. State to just 1-of-14 from behind the three point line.

Head Coach Brad Brownell announced to the media this afternoon that Freshman Forward P.J. Hall will be available for the Tigers against the Terrapins. Hall missed Clemson’s last game due to a concussion he suffered during a practice earlier in the week.

Brownell also spoke on one of his senior leaders, Clyde Trapp. After missing the first half of the season last year due to a torn ACL, Trapp has been a staple on defensive for the Tigers, and leads the team in steals three games through the season.

After taking a week off in between games, Clemson will now face the task of having 4 games within a 10-day period. After Maryland, the Tigers will head to Atlanta for a neutral site game against Alabam before traveling up to Blacksburg, Virginia to kick off ACC play against Virginia Tech. The Tigers will conclude the stretch with a trip to Columbia for a game between in-state rival South Carolina on December 19th.
