"ALL IN" Commitment Clemson lands Big DT from Maryland

Clemson picks up its 12th Commitment in the 2019 Class as Tayquon Johnson out of Maryland has picked the Tigers of Clemson over Alabama, Penn ST, Georgia, UNC and host of SEC and ACC power 5 suitors.

The big man who was just on campus with his family this past week, was down to Clemson and Penn St from the intel we gathered on the ground around him.  The Nittany Lions pressed really hard for the Williamsport product but in the end it was Clemson for one of the top player in Maryland.

The Tigers add a quality interior run stuffer and a player with a lot of potential and room to grow as they look to fill in the void to be left on the defensive front after graduation and NFL draft attrition hits that unit after this season.

Stay tuned as we have reached out to Tayquon and will get his reaction and comments on his commitment later today and update this story on C-S-N.
