ALL IN: Clemson Gets Commitment From Kansas Linebacker

The Clemson Tigers picked up a big commitment today from the #1 player in the state of Kansas. Jaren Kanak, 6-2 210, is not only the best player in the state of Kansas, he is listed as the 10th best Athlete in the country in the 2022 class.

Kanak plays for Hays High School in Buda, Kansas, and is one of the fastest rising prospects of the summer. Recently, Kanak was timed at 10.37 in the 100m. The fastest time in the country belongs to Jaylen Slade out of IMG Academy (10.09). Karak has offers from 30+ schools, including Alabama, Michigan, Georgia and Florida among other powerhouses.

He becomes the 12th commitment in this class, adding another highly rated prospect to the defensive side of the ball. The amount of talent on Brent Venable’s defense is really starting to stack up.

With this commitment, the Tigers will move up to 8th in the 247 recruiting rankings, right behind Georgia, only .20 points behind the Bulldawgs. There is still a long way to go.
