Q&A With Kobe the day before his Clemson commitment:

CSN: Kobe obvious question with your brother a Clemson WR and now in the NFL… you have been to Clemson and seen how the student-athletes co habit-tate with each other and also know this staff pretty well.. So Clemson is no stranger to the McClouds from Tampa.. Tell us before you were the target of recruiting what where your impressions of the school an team as you watched Ray Ray go thru his experience there?

KM: They were unique in the ways of how the whole program is built of off relationships and everyone is family .

CSN: You are a linebacker and you have seen Clemson LB’s with the likes of Stephon Anthony, Dorian O’ Daniel, and Isiah Simmons all find their way to the NFL via the Tigers in the past few seasons.. And a lot of plays made by the Clemson LB corps with their unique blitz packages.. What about the Clemson scheme is most attractive to a LB?

KM: How you are able to make plays all over the field with their schemes and the opportunity that the LB position have in the schemes.

You’re a Tampa native and you have seen a lot of local an regional attention especially in such a competitive an talent rich state.. Tell us how much an advantage it is to play against competition in the area from Tampa to Orlando that “I-4 corridor”….

KM: It’s great playing against competition like that night in and night out so it has most definitely prepared me for college ball.

CSN: What is your destination school going to get in a player on and off the field when you finally commit?

KM:. They are going to get a Swiss Army knife at linebacker who is versatile, sideline to sideline player , a good run stopper and can cover well.

CSN: What player in the NFL or NCAA do you admire and would like to emulate their path on and off the field.. 6. What is it you are looking for in a school socially, academically and as far as molding you as a person for the future?

KM: We’ll my brother is 1 and I would say I try to play my type of game like a Fred Warner type of linebacker. 6. I’m looking for a school that can not only help me become a man on the field but most importantly in my everyday life and help my plan out my future and help me be successful.
