2022 Safety Kylon Griffin has committed to the Clemson Tigers. He made his commitment shortly after his official visit this past weekend. Griffin had narrowed his choices down to Clemson, Nebraska and USC (the real one).

Griffin, 6-0 187, played for Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School in Montgomery, Alabama. His teammate, TJ “Bull” Dudley was supposed to come with him but didn’t make the trip. He is reportedly scheduled to visit next weekend, January 28-29.

The 3-star safety recorded 44 tackles, five tackles for loss, and six passes defended as a senior. His junior year, he had 55 tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions and 10 passes defended.

Griffin picked up a Clemson offer on January 7th and received 18 total offers. He becomes the 15th (16th counting transfer QB Hunger Johnson) commitment in Clemson’s 2022 class.
