ACC Plans
A week after the ACC announced its plans for the 2020 football season, in a statement released today they revealed that the week-to-week schedule will be released at 9:00 am EST AUG 6th. The teams in the ACC already learned their home and away opponents last week in addition to Notre Dame joining the conference for the duration of the 2020 season.
The ACC is currently set to kickoff the season on September 12, which originally was supposed to be week two of game play. No school in the conference has released their plans for the one allotted out of conference game. Due to most conferences electing for in-conference only play, most teams will likely choose an FCS school within their state, or a team from the Big-12 who also announced they would allow one out of conference game. The ACC and the Big-12 are currently the only conference in the Power-5 to allow out of conference play.
