CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers were placed No. 5 on the 2024 ACC Preseason Coaches Poll as the league head coaches voted the team to finish fifth overall this season, as announced by the conference office on Thursday.
Clemson, who finished third overall in the ACC last season, improved their preseason ranking as they were voted to finish sixth in the preseason poll for the 2023 campaign.
The conference officially welcomes three new programs to the rankings this season as Stanford, Cal and SMU are set to compete on the pitch this season for the ACC.

The Tigers are set to open up the fall season at Auburn on August 15 as they will look to secure their first victory of the 2024 campaign. On August 18, Clemson will open up it’s home slate as they host High Point at Historic Riggs Field with the match starting at 5 p.m.
