Top quarterback prospect Ty Simpson has announced he will commit on February 19th at 2pm CST (3pm eastern). In December, he had narrowed his list down to 10, a list that included Alabama, Auburn, Texas A&M, and Florida.
Simpson, 6-2 185, is ranked as the #2 ranked dual-threat quarterback in the country in the 2022 class as well as the #2 ranked player in the state of Tennessee. Odds are his decision will come down to Clemson or Tennessee. With the turmoil around the Vols right now, Clemson might hold the upper hand. Tennessee recently hired Josh Heupel and has vowed to “shut down the borders”. This will be an interesting test.
To date, the 4-star QB has 38 offers and can basically pick from a lot of very good schools. CSN will bring you the news as it hits.
