Tigers Down Boston College in ACC Finale
Weymouth, Mass. — Clemson (9-13, 2-10 ACC) closed out the ACC regular season with a 6-1 road victory over Boston College (2-11, 0-11 ACC) on Friday afternoon. The Tigers improve to 20-1 all-time against the Eagles and extend their series winning streak to 14 matches.
Clemson took control of the match early, earning the doubles point with Ryuhei Azuma and Spencer Whitaker taking Court 2, 6-1, and Carlos Kelaidis and Andrew Puscas winning line three, 6-4. In singles, Whitaker finished first for the Tigers, downing his opponent, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 6. No. 118 Teodor Giusca followed closely behind at line four with a 6-3, 6-0 victory of his own. On Court 5, Jorge Plans Gonzalez clinched the match notching a 6-4, 6-1 win. Additionally, Carlos Kelaidis (6-0, 6-3) and Ryuhei Azuma (4-6, 6-2, 1-0) earned their decisions on at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

- The Tigers earn their second-straight victory this season and their 14th straight over Boston College
- Clemson improves to 20-1 all-time against the Eagles
- No. 118 Teodor Giusca improves to 10-5 on the season, winning four straight matches
- Jorge Plans Gonzalez and Spencer Whitaker each open a three match win streak in singles, improving to 11-6 and 10-7, respectively
