Clemson defeated Georgia Southern on Saturday afternoon in front of an announced crowd of over 79,000. Tropical storm Florence was threatening the area, expected to arrive in the vicinity later in the day with gust’ of wind and sheets of rain. Clemson fans undeterred filled the stadium and cheered on their Tigers as they too on the Eagles of Georgia Southern.
The orange clad crowd was not disappointed as the Tigers took care of the Eagles with relative ease. Final Score Clemson 38 Georgia Southern 7.
