Giusca/Liu Earn Top-25 Ranking

Tempe, Az. — Teodor Giusca and Yizhou Liu made a significant jump in the ITA rankings this week, moving up 28 spots to No. 22, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon. It marks the first time since March 20, 2018 that a Clemson tandem has been ranked within the top-25 programs. The last two Tigers to hold a top-25 spot was No. 22 Alex Favrot and Simon Baudry.

Last week, Giusca and Liu went 1-0 at line two with a point-clinching win over No. 30 Alex Galarneau and Robert Turzak, 7-5. On Friday, the pair’s match went unfinished against the No. 2 duo from Wake Forest.

The Tigers return to action on Friday, April 9 when they host Louisville at 5 p.m.
