SPRING GAME 2018

 

Tiger Town will be busy with many sporting events this weekend including Saturday’s Spring Football game and a three-game home series against Miami.

Check out the full schedule of events and some information to help you plan your weekend.

Baseball will now hold a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. and not play on Sunday due to weather concerns. Tickets for Sunday’s scheduled game will be valid for Saturday’s 1 p.m., contest, and the stadium will be cleared in between games. Tickets for Saturday’s 5 p.m., game will still be accepted for that game. If the first game on Saturday ends after 4:15 p.m., the second game on Saturday will start 45 minutes after the first game on Saturday ends.

PARKING

Fans are encouraged to arrive early and be patient, as the normal traffic and parking plan utilized during regular season games will not be in effect.

Baseball reserved parking will be in place for the weekend series with Miami.

Parking lots open at 8 a.m. Saturday, with all non-baseball lots open on a first-come, first-served basis. Shuttles will be running from west campus lots – Snow Family Beach, NewSpring and Seneca Creek Meadow.

General public parking is available in Lot 1, Lot 4, Lot 5, Jervey Meadows, Lot 6, Lot 10, Lot 15, East Beach, Lot 3E, Lot 3A, Snow Family Beach, NewSpring Church, Seneca Creek Meadow. Lot 2 is unavailable, as the Alumni Association Spring Fling is utilizing this area.

ADA Parking is available with a state-issued permit at lots C-7 (North Stadium Lot) and C-9 (Centennial Blvd. Lot).

 

BASEBALL HOSTS MIAMI

The baseball team hosts Miami in a three-game series this weekend, with games Friday at 6:30, Saturday at 1 and approximately 5 p.m. Limited tickets are available. Tickets for Sunday’s scheduled game will be valid for Saturday’s 1 p.m., contest, and the stadium will be cleared in between games. Tickets for Saturday’s 5 p.m., game will still be accepted for that game. If the first game on Saturday ends after 4:15 p.m., the second game on Saturday will start 45 minutes after the first game on Saturday ends.

ROWING HOSTS CLEMSON INVITATIONAL

The Clemson rowing team welcomes 21 teams from around the nation for the annual Clemson Invitational on Lake Hartwell this weekend. Races begin on Saturday at 8 a.m., and continue in an evening session at 5 p.m. Parking around the rowing center will be unavailable for fans to accommodate visiting teams.

BE A T.I.G.E.R. FIELD DAY

Be a T.I.G.E.R. Field Day, a free youth event created and organized by Clemson student-athletes, is set to take place on Saturday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the Littlejohn Coliseum Lawn. Presented by ScanSource and the Greenville Zoo, the event, which will have a safari theme this year, is free for children from kindergarten through eighth grade. Families are encouraged to take part in the event before attending Clemson’s Spring Football Game, which kicks off at 2:30 p.m.

Be A T.I.G.E.R. Field Day focuses on games and activities that teach five different character traits. Each letter in the word “T.I.G.E.R.” stands for a specific character trait that is important for young children to understand and practice in their everyday lives. “T” stands for teamwork, “I” for integrity, “G” for gratitude, “E” for education and “R” for respect.

CLEAR BAG POLICY

Clemson’s clear bag policy will be in effect for the Spring Game and baseball series.

ENTRY GATES

Gates 1, 5, 9, 11, 13 and the north upper deck (Gate 20) will open at 11 a.m 

BROADCAST INFORMATION

The 2018 Spring Game will be broadcast on the Clemson Radio Network and on ESPN
