Rowing Adds Joy Neal to 2022 Roster

CLEMSON, S.C. – Head Coach Stephen Frazier Wong and the Clemson rowing program are excited to announce the addition of Joy Neal to its 2022 signing class.

“We’re excited to have Joy become a member of the Clemson Family,” says Frazier Wong. “One of the things that stood out for us with Joy was that she was captain of not just her rowing team, but her swim team too. We believe her leadership experience along with her passion for rowing and hard work will have a winning impact on our team.”

Neal hails from Columbus, Ohio and plans to major in sociology.

“I loved the welcoming environment and the family aspect of not only the team but the whole school. When I visited many team members came up to me and introduced themselves and allowed me to ask questions. Watching practice was one of the big deciding factors for me as well.”
