Recruiting: Tigers offer Mizzou Defensive End

The Clemson Tigers reached out to the state of Missouri yesterday to offer a talented defensive end. DJ Wesolak of Boonville, Missouri, became the 51st football offer in the Clemson 2022 class. The staff is hitting the defensive end position hard and Wesolak has the size needed to play the position at the next level.

Wesolak, 6-6 230, is ranked as the 11th best player in the state of Missouri. The recruiting services has this big DE is rated a 3-star but he has 37 offers on his list and when Clemson offers, star ratings don’t normally play a key part.

As a junior,the Boonville high school product helped lead his team to a 6-4 record by recording 59 tackles, 19 tackles for loss with 8 sacks. He becomes the 8th offer at defensive end for the Tigers. The recruiting services like him for Notre Dame but that was before the Clemson offer. More to come on this talent from the midwest.
